Job Purpose

This role is primarily responsible for administering a portfolio of small to medium size Customer accounts to ensure the contract and service provisions are met promptly. The person needs to build excellent relationships and influence with key stakeholders at all levels within Airports and Government establishments in the UAE for aiding the business objectives. Additionally, shall provide sales support to the Sales Team, prepare sales performance reports, perform sales analysis, maintain databases for sales, profitability, pricing and competitor activities. 

Principal Accountabilities

In consultation with the Manager – Sales & International Supply Chain, shall execute the below principal accountabilities:

Sales & Account Management of Customer portfolio
•    Manage the assigned customer portfolio in terms of contract and service provision to ensure all customer requirements are met promptly.
•    Ensure all fuelling requests from Customers are promptly communicated to Operations on 24 x 7 basis at the airports within UAE and outside UAE and orders are timely executed for avoiding fuelling related flight delays.
•    Maintain effective relationship with assigned customers for deriving maximum value from existing business and with prospective customers for new business.
•    Swiftly resolves customer complaints, implement corrective and preventive actions to improve customer experience.

Tenders and Contract Coordination
•    Compiles the bid requirements for the assigned fuel supply tenders, send the bids, receives the customer feedbacks, analyses previous year and current year offers, participates in negotiation of contract terms, prepares fuel supply agreements for execution and records.

Sale to Cash Administration
•    Ensures implementation of credit policies, monitors customer outstanding in line with approved credit limits, security deposits, terms and agreed contractual conditions.
•    Responsible for obtaining required financial securities from assigned customers for mitigating the receivable risk.
•    Ensure invoices, statement of accounts are sent regularly to assigned customers and maintains follow-ups for receivables before due date.

Stakeholders Relationships
•    Independently develops and maintains excellent relationships with key stakeholders at all Airports and Government establishments within UAE for influence and aiding business objectives.

Market Intelligence, Customer Insight & Reporting
•    As support to the Sales Team, performs routine customer pricing updates, creation of new customers, calculating and sending cash price advices, update of customer contracts, generation and relays of invoices to customers.
•    Conducts field visits, bench-mark analysis to keep abreast with competitors’ position, market conditions, and customer needs affecting market trends.
•    Prepares accurate performance reports on sales volume and profitability for the monthly Management meetings.
•    Maintains databases for customer-wise sales, profitability, pricing trends and competitor activities for analysis and formulating sales strategies.
•    Stays abreast of trends in the aviation fuel sector

Additional Principal Accountabilities

Experience

•    Degree level education with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
•    Excellent influence and relationship building skills with Airport and Government establishments in UAE.
•    Good computer, analytical, numerical, communication and presentation skills are essential.
•    Good team player with friendly disposition.
