Job Title

Logistic Assistant


Job Purpose

To handle front desk operations with proper coordination of the process with operations, customers as well as handle logistics pertaining to documentation, customs clearance or export/import bill of lading and transportation. The job involves high degree of coordination, punctuality and moreover accuracy in entering or recording data in the system in order to ensure trouble free customer services and recei t/des atch of roducts.

Principal Accountabilities

Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Coordinate despatch of products.
2.Enter Product Release Orders and Delivery Orders in the Inventory system
3.Enter Drum requirement as per the drumming schedule
4.Maintain Delivery Orders, supporting documents file
5.Entry of Daily tank dips and filing of tank levels for records and ref
6.Coordinating with customer's, shipping companies for transport placements
7.Provide activity report for all Terminal activities on monthly basis
8.Coordinate with drum suppliers for daily operations usage
9.Daily Data enfry for Goods receipts, Despatches in to Inventory system 10. Maintaining DO files with supporting documents for records l l . Monitoring and updating daily despatching activities with respect to daily plan
12. Preparing daily Delivery Note summary
4Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries
Interface with finance, administration and operations deparfrnents as well as coordinate with clients to support specific services. e orts directly to the Finance Executive.
5Communications and Working Relationships
Need to work very closely with operations department to support client services and other sections of the company in general.
The job holder is the direct contract point of the company for client services and therefore need to maintain good relationship with all clients as well as vendors and suppliers for procurement of materials and other services.
6Problem Solving / Complexity
Good numeric skills required. Quick analytic ability to respond to various customs duty calculations is a must.
7Decision Making Authority and Responsibility
Work is reviewed and supervised by the Finance Executive.

Additional Principal Accountabilities


Education: Graduation from any recognized university.
1.Minimum 5 years experience in handling logistical operations, preferably within oil and gas.
2.To be fully conversant with customs regulations/documentation and general codes relevant to export and import of products.
3.Need to be aware of the general transport regulations and rules applicable in particular to movements of hazardous products.
Computer skills: Good computer skills and ability to develop spreadsheets.
Lan uage & writin skills• Good skills in English both in writing and verbal
