Job Purpose

To ensure the smooth running of Supply chain operations relating planning, storage and delivery to ENOC customers and Distributors. Ensures all raw materials and packages are available to meet the production requirements for the entire range of products throughout the supply chain. Also, to consolidate various analysis reports required for day to day business activities and new blending arrangements analysis.

Principal Accountabilities

Responsible for arranging raw material supplies on all matters relating to the design, costs, delivery, invoicing and inventory control.
Procures all empty packages and accessories for lubricant and grease filling. In conjunction with S&D Manger identifies potential suppliers and establishes supply arrangements. Conducts continuous assessments of vendors to ensure quality standards are not compromised.
Establishes and implements customer's orders, delivery of correct products on time. Monitors continuously the implementation of these procedures to ensure compliance and corrective action where there are deficiencies.
Compiles and analyses sales forecast from sales team for raw materials procurement planning purposes.
Acts as Custodian of new product package development. Liaises with Marketing and Technology managers and various suppliers to introduce products and packages.
Assists S&D Manager to establish new blending arrangements locally and internationally.
Reviews the export shipment plans. Liaises with Plant Logistics. Initiates shipment plan changes where required and co-ordinates with the customer service representative on delivery schedules.
Determines and assigns delivery priorities for customer orders. Examines the cost of delivery/shipment operations to improve operational efficiency.
Keeps detailed stock records of ENOC inventory for both finished goods and raw materials and is responsible for operating minimum stock control procedures.
Investigates customer complaints to determine the problem and conducts effective corrective action in conjunction with the S&D Manager. Is the point of contact for all queries and problems that arise between the blend plants and ENOC Lubricants and our suppliers?
Main contact point with ENOC IT with regard to Supply Chain ERP system administration and modifications.
Provides data and analyses of budgeting information and ENOC sales/ product costs and makes recommendations to the Manager.
Works closely with EPPCO Lubricants CSS to ensure that orders are produced on-time.
Scrutinises and verifies for payment all vendors bills related to the purchase of packages, raw materials and other imported items.

Additional Principal Accountabilities

Experience

Education: University Degree in Commerce or equivalent is required
Qualifications & experience: 6-8 years’ experience in supply chain operations.
Computer skills:
Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel
Language & writing skills:
Good written and verbal communication skills
