Job Purpose
This role acts as the Technical Advisor and Subject Matter Expert on Process Engineering for the entire plant. The role ensures the application of engineering and technology skills, as well as offering expertise in the development and support of Process Engineering processes and change requests for the Operations and Maintenance Departments.
To monitor & solve any process related problem associated with the plants by reviewing the process parameters, lab results and discussing with Operations Dept. to diagnose potential problems & apply the necessary troubleshooting measures Imageto improve the plant operation. To perform mass balance and prepare production reports.
Principal Accountabilities
1) Process Monitoring
⦁ Review the process paramour lab results and discuss with operations dept to diagnose potential problems & apply the necessary troubleshooting measures to improve the plant operation.
2) Production report
⦁ Manages mass balance and prepare production reports on daily and monthly basis.
3) Site Visits
⦁ Conduct regular visits to the different plants to ensure everything is running steady as normal requirements & provide all required technical assistance to operations.
4) Studies & Trials
⦁ Conduct process studies & process plant trials with various new methodologies & selecting those appropriate to optimize & improve overall plant performance.
Use simulation tool, as required, to directionally, predict the results of proposed plant related improvements.
5 Catal st / Chemical Evaluation
⦁ Continously monitor & evaluate catalysts & chemicals life & performance in order to renew the catalyst and/or chemical if needed .
⦁ When needed, recommend renewal of specific catalysts and/or chemicals to maintain optimal plant performance.
⦁ Collecting and sharing process data with catalyst vendor for his recommendations.
⦁ Supervision of catalyst loading/Unloading
6) Safety, Quality & Environment
Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality & environmental management procedures & controls across the process engineering section to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service & a responsible environmental attitude.
⦁ Provide technical information (atmosphere emission, liquid waste process, Energy consumption) to the environmental department to maintain overall safety of the environment.
7) Policies, Systems, Process & Procedures
⦁ Follow all relevant departmental policies, process, standard operating procedures & instructions so that work is carried out ina controlled & consistent manner.
8) Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, process & practices taking into account 'international best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction & productivity improvement.

Report security incidents, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or non-compliance in accordance with established procedures.
Fulfil role-specific information security responsibilities and contribute to maintaining the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
⦁ University degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum Experience:
⦁ 10-12 years in process engineering in oil, gas and/or petrochemical industry
