Job Purpose
The role is responsible for formulating and executing integrated, strategically-focused micro and macro marketing plans and initiatives to drive demand, in order to achieve revenue and market segment penetration goals, across prospective and current clients, for an assigned portfolio of entities, in alignment with both (Group Strategy) and the corporate brand strategy (Group Communications). The role will lead, and direct all marketing and communications activities in line with Group Communications for CIS Segment locally & segment integrated marketing plan internationally, through creating, conceptualizing and developing fully integrated marketing strategies and leading the implementation of marketing & communication plans to ensure the delivery of overall marketing strategies, and goals business objectives and deliver on financial accountabilities. driving overall business growth and brand & marketing goals achievement in line with group aspirations and strategy
Principal Accountabilities
Identifies and executes on opportunities to drive new thinking, innovation and cost efficiency into marketing approach through new or enhanced solutions/programs and tactics designed to achieve market growth.
Leads and directs the development of the strategic marketing direction regarding marketing priorities and resource/spend allocations to geographic markets, market segments, products, and programs to ensure fulfillment of business objectives
Lead the development of focused business & geographical marketing strategies to ensure fulfillment of business objectives.
Develop brand messaging that is strong and consistent across all portfolio channels and marketing efforts in adherence to the group communication and brand strategy.
Develop product positioning, value propositions and messaging that resonate with buying audience and produce master messaging blueprints and frameworks.
Lead the development and implementation of overall Segment Digital operations solutions and social media content in line with the Group Communications social media strategy.
Financial Responsibility:
P&L accountability on the segment overall EBIT through driving programs that contribute directly to EBIT and managing spend and profitability to contribute overall margins and EBIT.
Approval authority on all segment marketing budget and Spend for complete CIS segment marketing investments to ensure positive ROI for the segment and growth.
Making key decisions on areas of marketing investments and spend with regards to the overall CIS Segment to ensure financial and non-financial KPIs are achieved.
Market Analysis &Research:
Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
Conduct market analysis, customer segmentation and win/loss analysis to gain new insights and opportunities for market differentiation (competitor analysis, price points). Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
Lead and Develop the research and insights framework and manage research partners to create develop clear business visibility, competitive analysis, consumer/segment trends and benchmarking.
Take active marketing investment decisions based on research data and insights.
Analyze local and international markets (Competitor's analysis, price points) and conduct research to identify marketing opportunities across various products and geographies.
Translate insights and research into Segment marketing strategies and drive impactful marketing & communication plans.
Develops and map holistic view of target segments & the customer journey to optimize and localize campaigns for maximum impact and ensure brand business objectives are met across the value chain.
Brand Management / Positioning
Additional Principal Accountabilities
Marketing & Communication Strategy Development
Lead the development and implementation of overall marketing strategies Sub-Brand strategies for ENOC commercial & international sales Segment (ENOC aviation, ENOC Industrial, ENOC International Lubricants, / EPPCO lubricants and Emirates Gas Companies and Brands) both locally and internationally and across all business. Drive results by directing, defining and implementing key and impactful marketing strategies that are directed for the different business models, direct to consumer (D2C), business to business (B2B) or business to business to consumer (B2B2C) for local and international business. Evaluate and asses all marketing & communication plans, projects and initiatives to ensure delivery of KPls and constant learning and improvement on plans. Lead the development and implementation of all internal segment communication touchpoints to ensure awareness and engagement across segment in line with Group Internal Communications policy. Manage and maintain budgets for segment level marketing & communication activities, approve and sign off for all marketing spend for the segment.
Price and Portfolio Management: Work with BU's, to review product architecture, and define key product value propositions.
In line with business strategy, advise on pricing strategies and benchmarking utilizing research and insights for existing and new markets.
Develop, manage and rationalize portfolio to ensure portfolio matches market requirements, and in line with brand architecture and driving, inventory optimization. Develop product communication & USP's toolkits and launch programs.
Governance . Develop and deploy policies, procedures, process's and framework to optimize and streamline marketing & communication process's and ensure protection of ENOC sub brands and segment brands across international markets. Lead and work on performing various retail audits & measures to ensure guidelines are adhered to in various geographies locally and internationally. Lead the development of various programs to ensure distributors/ Partners/ and JV's adherence to guidelines and maintain and protect the brand and reputation.
Work with legal teams to ensure brand registration and rights to protect the brand internationally. Use data-driven marketing with creativity, to deliver meaningful customer experience with a focus on ROI.
Drive insights; tracking and reporting on campaign costs, performance, and ROI to understand channel and offer performance.
Create, maintain and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics. Develop customer references, testimonials and case studies for external and internal use. Ensure strict adherence to the group brand communications policies, and framework.
Team Development and Management
In collaboration with Group HR, create and lead the development and retention framework to identify, recognize and develop talent within the department. Create and ensure defining the marketing competencies framework to assess and develop the skills of marketing teams.
Lead the development of direct reports to ensure personal development plans are in place and ensure the continuous development of teams to match and exceed industry standards. Coach and mentor reports to ensure their professional growth and development within the organization,
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business/ Marketing, MBA is a plus.
10-12 years of sales / marketing experience in downstream/ Automotive & industrial B2B related business
Sales & Marketing skills, and customer relationship management.
