Job Purpose

To manage and control all depmtmental activities in accordance with ENOC & Dugas policies and procedures by establishing effective interfaces with all departments within the company and outside agencies to ensure that the safety of all employees and equipment meets international, industrial, and governmental standards.
To ensure security of the plant & employees by enforcing the regulations & Policies.
To manage and maintain the certified Environmental management System according to the International standard ISO 14001. To manage the implementation of Energy management system for certification
 

Principal Accountabilities

Annual EHSS& EnMS(Environment, Health, Safety , Security& Energy Management System) Planning

•    Oversees and leads the development of the annual plan and monitor its implementation for ensuring achievement of key EHSS& EnMS objectives. Ensure areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.

Standards and specifications

•    Ensure that all Certified & other standards, specifications and manuals are adequately maintained and updated to ensure all conform to the approved industry and international standards and are in accordance with Dugas& ENOC policies and procedures.

Compliance

•    Ensures Dugas, ENOC, Dubai Municipality guidelines, Federal Laws related to department are constantly updated and complied with.Hazard Identification, Evaluation and Control

•    Leads the process for hazard identification, evaluation and control process internally and externally through liaising with the Senior Management, Department Managers and also with the local law enforcement agencies.
 

Additional Principal Accountabilities


Risk Management

•        Manages EHS&S risks, aspects & impacts involved in Dugas's activities, through proper coordination between various departments and implementing highest EHS&S standards, thus bringing down the insurance premium for the Company.

Incident/Accident investigations

•    Leads investigations of all EHS&S incidents I accidents including near­ misses. Analysis of accidents and identify trends, vulnerabilities and liabilities that may be avoided by preventive techniques and procedures.

Audit Management

•        Directs all EHS&S Inspections, departmental, Internal & External audits, ensuring best management practices and advise the senior management in safety, health, environment and asset protection& Security & maintain certifications.

Reports

•        Presents annual reports summanzmg status of EHS&S compliance, and areas of concern to the senior management and participate in management meetings. Publish regular alerts to give a heads up to plant managers regarding new or altered regulations, and regulatory complaints.
 

Cyber Information Security Responsibilities


Comply with all applicable information security policies, standards, and procedures.
Classify and protect information assets in accordance with the Data Classification Standard.
Participate in mandatory information security awareness and training programs.
Support information security initiatives and activities within the organization.
Consider information security requirements when managing changes involving information assets.
Report security incidents, vulnerabilities, weaknesses, or non-compliance in accordance with established procedures.
Fulfil role-specific information security responsibilities and contribute to maintaining the effectiveness of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Experience

Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in a relevant discipline. Additionally the following qualifications are preferred: British Safety Council Diploma or NEBOSH, Advanced Firefighting License, First Aid Training Certification, and Industrial Security Courses.
Lead Auditor ISO 14001

Minimum Experience:

l0-12 years of working experience in safety/health/environment department of gas, oil, or petrochemical plant.
