Job Purpose

Reporting directly to the Sr. EHS Engineer, the incumbent is responsible for delivering the required EHS programs, including staff training, drills, investigations & support to Tasjeel & Retail Marketing staff to improve their EHS-related behavior & culture.

He/ She would be responsible to track & monitor the EHS Programs & inspections to ensure completion as per the EHS Annual Plans and support the Sr. EHS Engineer in all admin issues and regulatory requirements as & when required.

Principal Accountabilities

1)Support the Sr. EHS Engineer and BU Management in developing the annual EHS Training Calendar/Plans for the Retail Marketing and Tasjeel staff and track the implementation of such plans as per the planned monthly schedule (EHS Annual Plans & related KPI`s monitoring);
2)Conduct & provide different EHS, IMS, & Energy training modules to the field staff in Retail Marketing & Tasjeel, in addition to the Contractors and Tenants Safety Training programs; 
3)Conduct planned EHS inspections for all Tasjeel Sites, different Zoom Sites, and Tenants shops on periodic basis as per the EHS Annual Plan and provide feedback to the Sr. EHS Engineer accordingly, track & monitor performance till the closure of all gaps identified;
4)Support Tasjeel & the Retail Marketing team in conducting all programs to improve their safety culture through public safety campaigns and other activities;
5)Support providing and collecting information related to Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for Tasjeel & Retail Marketing BU`s on monthly basis;
6)Support in accidents, incidents & near-miss’s investigation process and sharing of lessons learned from those incidents through the Safety Alerts bulletins and different training programs;
7)Support conducting of periodic emergency drills for Tasjeel & Retail Marketing and keep relevant records   of the same;
8)Maintain up-to-date proper documentation system for all above activities for audit purpose and as per the IMS requirements;
9)Support the implementation of the Integrated Management System IMS within Tasjeel & Retail Marketing in coordination with QA Department;
10)Support the implementation of the Energy & Resource Management System within Tasjeel & Retail Marketing in coordination with Group Sustainability Office;
11)Facilitation of the Safety Committee meetings for Tasjeel, as per the approved charter & the requirement under the KPI`s targets;
12)He/ She is the focal point of the Document Control system related to Retail Segment.
13)Support the review & implementation of the Retail Integrated Management System (IMS) & ISO 50,001 in coordination with Quality & Business Excellence Department.

Additional Principal Accountabilities


Education: Bachelor degree as a minimum in Business Administration or equivalent;

Work Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in field operations.

Behavioral & Functional Competencies: Good communication and presentation skills are required. Knowledge of Office Automation products (MS XL, Word, & PowerPoint) is required.
