Job Purpose

Under the supervision of the Head -Automotive Operations, the Logistics Officer will be responsible in maximizing the sales and profitability of Automotive Services by assuring that analytically correct procurement, inventory, logistics, and equipment maintenance plans are implemented as per set strategies and complied with all aspects of Quality, HSE, and other standards, as such assuring that the right products and services are available and delivered timely at Automotive sites.

Principal Accountabilities

Inventory management and stock ordering
•    Track stock availability of fast-moving items at site and automotive network in addition to minimum stock availability at warehouse.
•    Prepare quarterly and annual performance reports for warehouse inventory, spare equipment (stand by) and PMT to demonstrate operational readiness to Heard of operation and Technical Development Manager.
•    Track Logistic and MVS maintenance and license renewal intervals in addition to scheduling and availability to serve customers and ensure target achievement with optimal operational excellence.
•    Provide MVS sales report, analysis, and complaints on regularly (monthly) bases to Head of Operations.
•    Coordinate with finance on quarterly stock taking and ensure proper and accurate stock balance to void discrepancies.
•    Track and monitor items movement (fast, medium, and slow) to void dead­ stock and losses.
•    Coordinate with Warehouse staff to ensure best space utilization and bulk stock storage and allocation.
•    Ensure proper movement of stock in both warehouse and site.
•    Responsible for forecasting, demand planning, and statistics data.
•        Supervise and manage logistic team, Mobile van service (MVS), and Preventive maintenance team (PMT)

Additional Principal Accountabilities

•    Coordinate between Warehouse, PMT, Logistic, Autopro Academy technical team number and provide required reports upon request.
•    Follow up assets registry and write off process of damaged equipment.
Follow up and track fast movers' inventory (tyres, batteries, parts and consumables) to ensure sufficient stock availability in coordination with sales & marketing team and automotive network.
 

Experience

•    Diploma or relevant vocational degree.
•    4 years' experience in Automotive industry inventory and preventive maintenance field.
•    Good Communication and presentation skills.
•    Highly analytical and able to present supply and demand reports.
•    Above average skill in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Willingness to work outside normal office hours.
•    Holder of a valid U.A.E Driver's license.
